About Us

When you contact us, whether by telephone, e-mail or in person, Clare Casson is the first person you’re likely to meet. As well as handling initial enquires and reception duties, Clare looks after payroll, bookkeeping, company secretarial work, client administration and our time recording system. Clare joined us in 2006 after first gaining her NVQ in Administration and is currently studying for additional accountancy qualifications.

Janine Kelly graduated from University with a BA (Hons) degree in 2005 and joined us shortly after. She is responsible for accounts production, bookkeeping, VAT work, CIS processing and administration, company secretarial work, and our internal accounts. Janine manages our client systems and is responsible for creating many of them. She also carries out client liaison and troubleshooting, and is currently studying for her AAT qualification.

Co-founder of the business, Ian Knox is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years in practice. On a day to day basis Ian is responsible for accounts production, tax matters, client liaison, and the business mentoring side of the business. He also lectures on financial matters to new businesses, and provides assistance to developing businesses. Ian is a founder member of the local BNI chapter, which promotes its members businesses by word of mouth marketing.

Last, but certainly not least, Connie Knox is co-founder of the business. She is responsible for overall planning and strategy of the business, as well as being involved in sources of financing.  She has a number of NVQ’s to her credit, and a lot of common sense. Sometimes the best strategy we can suggest is the most obvious!
